About Us

UHY Haines Norton (formerly Butts Bainbridge & Weir) was established in West Auckland in the early 1950’s and has grown into a strong, well respected Chartered Accountancy firm. The firm operates under a corporate structure having six working Directors including a Managing Director and 40 staff. The Practice is run by a Practice Manager who takes care of all operational matters, from Information Systems through to Human Resources Management.

Based in the commercial heart of Waitakere, in Central Henderson, the accounting practice provides a full range of business and financial advisory services to our clients. We take great pride in our strong and growing client base and in the fact that we act for a number of well-recognised West Auckland businesses, some family based, who have been with our practice for more than 50 years. Examples include Babich Wines, The Nobilo Family and the Harvey Family.

In 2002, we joined the UHY International network, and in particular the UHY Haines Norton (Australia) branch to further broaden our service range to our clients and to strengthen our growing brand.

We see ourselves as an employer of first choice and that our strength is in the knowledge of our staff. Our focus as an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) is on staff training and development.

UHY Haines Norton has a strong profile in the community and we are and have been for many years actively involved in a number of local charitable and service organisations.
