Chatter for Charity
Much of our new business arrives by word of mouth. To return the favour that our clients are doing for us when they refer a friend or associate, we created Chatter for Charity. Here’s how it works:
- Refer friends, family and people in your social and business networks to UHY Haines Norton.
- Our services are relevant to anyone who needs the services of a chartered accountant, tax expert, financial auditor or business improvement adviser.
- We’ll donate $500 to your favourite not-for-profit event or organisation every time a referral is successful.
Any kind of business referral can trigger the donation. It could be a local business, or one further afield, someone you buy from or advise, or even the overseas-owned corporate hiding behind the reflective glass in that shiny new building downtown.
You’ll be dispensing a double dose of goodness: to the charity that receives the donation and to the business you refer to us, because at UHY Haines Norton we provide customer service that goes beyond clients’ expectations.

Terms and Conditions
- Qualifying charities include over 18,000 schools, sports clubs, community groups, or other institutions and funds recognized by the NZ Inland Revenue Department as donees who qualify for the charitable gifts and donation tax credits. (See www.ird.govt.nz/donee-organisations for a list of donee organisations.)
- A new client is defined as anyone UHY Haines Norton provide professional services to for a fee, e.g. sole trader, company, partnership, trust, charity, etc., who has not been a client of UHY Haines Norton before.
- UHY Haines Norton reserves the right to decline to offer professional services to any party.
- Donations will be made only after services to the equivalent value have been invoiced to the new client.
- UHY Haines Norton comprises only UHY Haines Norton (Auckland) Ltd (formerly Butts Bainbridge & Weir Ltd) and UHY Haines Norton partnership owned and operated in New Zealand.
- This promotional offer expires on 31 December 2011.
