UHY International

UHY International is a business driven international network of accounting and consulting firms established in 1986 to serve clients overseas interests. UHY has a network of some 4,800 people in 180 business centres over 40 countries to offer professional, personal service.

Business people need a wide range of services and knowledge of local conditions to help them create, operate and dispose of ventures across the globe.

We now live in a global community and new opportunities are continually developing for small and medium enterprises to expand – abroad. Free trade agreements can make regions more attractive to invest in, while changing global trade patterns and increasing market deregulation mean the way companies do business is continually changing. The extensive UHY network has been created to serve clients with these international interests.

In 2008, Butts Bainbridge & Weir re-branded itself to UHY Haines Norton which aligns us with the Australian UHY network of accountants. This closer association with the Haines Norton group, gives us, and ultimately our clients, a stronger base in which to provide audit assurance services and fosters closer Trans Tasman links.

To strengthen our Audit services, in 2005 we were admitted to membership of the US based Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB).
