Staff News – November 2012

This month we say goodbye to two staff members.

Ray Kelly

Ray is retiring in November.  Ray first joined UHY Haines Norton (Auckland) Limited, or Butts Bainbridge Weir as it was then, in 1987 he left in 1994 to do 10 years missionary work in Spain.  After leaving Spain Ray re-joined the firm in 2004 and has been here ever since.

Ray is beginning his well-earned retirement by spending a year traveling around the South Island with wife Judy.

The firm would like to thank Ray for his significant contribution to the firm and wishes Ray and Judy all the best in retirement and hope that they enjoy their trip around the South Island and after that enjoy spending time with their family and grandchildren. Good luck Ray and Judy.

Larissa Park

Larissa has been at the firm for the past year on a contract basis.  Larissa and husband Brent are moving to Rotorua to open a wine tasting and wine making venture at the Gondola.  The wine tasting room opens in December at the top of the Gondola, whilst the wine making operation will commence in early 2013.

Brent and Larissa market their wine under the Volcanic Hills label and their wines include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.  Good Luck Larissa and Brent on the new venture.  Please take the opportunity to visit Larissa and Brent’s wine tasting and making operation if you are ever in Rotorua.
