Employee cost calculatorBusiness.govt.nz, at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, has developed a new online tool to help small- to medium-sized businesses (SMEs) calculate the cost of employing staff.

The online employee cost calculator estimates the cost of hiring new staff, including fixed costs such as salary/wages, ACC levies and KiwiSaver, and discretionary costs such as recruitment, training and office equipment.
