We’re thrilled to share that our Audit Director, Bhavin Sanghavi, is featured on the front cover of the latest Rosebank Roundabout Magazine for his work as Chairperson of the Pathways to the Future Trust. It’s well-deserved recognition for the incredible contribution he’s making to West Auckland’s business community.
What is Pathways to the Future Trust?
Established in 2007 as a joint venture between the Rosebank Business Association and the Rotary Club of New Lynn, the Pathways to the Future Trust has a simple but powerful mission: to encourage and reward employees who contribute to the success of West Auckland businesses.
The Trust recognises employees who show genuine leadership, good attitude, and aptitude in their roles. Winners receive funding to advance their vocational careers, whether that’s for training courses, textbooks, or tools of trade. Over 18 years, the Trust has contributed more than $260,000 to over 160 people working in West Auckland.
The 2025 awards evening
On 13 November 2025, the Pathways awards evening at Blum New Zealand was a fantastic celebration of West Auckland’s rising stars. Twenty-three deserving employees were recognised for advancing their careers, supported by families, colleagues, and bosses who came together to cheer them on.
The room was buzzing with energy, pride, and excitement as local businesses united to celebrate the leaders of the future. From applause-filled speeches to smiles all around, the evening perfectly highlighted the talent, dedication, and potential shaping the next generation of West Auckland’s workforce.
Why this matters to us
Bhavin’s leadership with the Pathways Trust reflects values we hold dear at UHY: supporting our community, investing in people’s development, and celebrating the achievements of those who work hard and contribute to business success.
The Trust’s objectives align perfectly with how we think about business. Encouraging pride of workmanship, fostering positive employer and employee relationships, and building community pride in individual achievements are all part of creating thriving businesses and vibrant communities.
Congratulations, Bhavin
We’re proud to have Bhavin representing UHY in the community and making such a meaningful contribution to West Auckland’s business landscape. His work with the Trust is helping to develop the next generation of skilled, passionate employees, and that’s something worth celebrating.
If you’re a West Auckland business with an employee worthy of recognition, consider nominating them for a Pathways award. It’s a fantastic opportunity to acknowledge their contribution and support their career development.
